Key Stage 1 and 2
Following the current DfE guidance, if children should need to self-isolate due to Covid, or school closure due to full lock down, we will be setting them remote learning via our Class Dojo, in tandem with class pages on our website. The children will be set English, maths and reading activities daily, with additional topic based activities being set weekly. Remote learning may utilise web-based learning but the tasks set must be specific to our curriculum at Ashton Vale. Staff will provide instructions and a way for the children to record their learning through Class Dojo. The children will be able to submit their work through writing, pictures, videos or voice clips for their teacher to review. Each child has an individual log in which have been sent home to parents. If you are missing this log in please contact the school office.
EYFS - Reception Class
Penguin Class will use Interactive Learning Diary (ILD) to receive home learning activities from their teacher. The children will be able to respond to these activities. Please ensure if you have a child in Reception, that you have visited ILD to see what has been set. Parents have received a login from Mrs. Griffiths
